I like Dock Holiday’s Marina. Unfortunately it is in northern Myrtle Beach, almost in Little River, and my friends are in the south end, near Socastee. For that reason I am going to stay at Osprey Marina, where I met these friends. I am going to stay over one more day here though, the weather is calling for thunder storms, and looking at the Wx Radar it looks like they will start in about 30 minutes and last all day. The line of clouds stretches all the way to Oklahoma and it’s heading right for me.

Met Stewart “CaptForce” Force, last night. He’s a moderator for cruisersfourm.com, a social network of live aboard sailors on the net. We had “spoken” over the forum many time but this is the first time we have met. He has a very nice Morgan Out Island Ketch and is staying here for some minor repairs and then continuing back north.
