Tomorrow I will do 3 of the 5 required dives to get my open water dive cert. I am going on a charter to a dive site 20 miles out of Merrils Inlet, SC. It will be in 35-40 feet and last about 3 hours (in the water) . This is what this life is about, doing new things. Who knows maybe skydiving is next.
Update: The visibility at the dive site was 2 feet, seas 2-6′, wind >20knts. The dive captain called off the dive. 1 1/2 hours in rough seas out and another 1 1/2 hrs back, many with mal de mar, (not me). Horrible day.
The nice thing about your current lifestyle is there is always tomorrow.
Sure, but I am now 100 miles south on Johns Island and the boat is on the hard. (Getting the hull painted.)
