At Ross Marina, on the Hard.

I am on the hard at Ross Marina, John’s Island, South Carolina, for a long overdue paint job. My boat was built in 1984 and you can still see the original name on the side. If you go to the “New Paint Job” page you can follow the progress of the job. She was pulled out Friday, 9-28-12, and hopefully will be re-launched on next Thursday 10-4-12. She will be a beautiful Ice Blue with navy blue trim. The tape covering the old registration numbers will be gone, along with the Texas registration stickers. Also gone will be the large “Krylon Gray” patch on the side where someone used a spray can to cover a few dock dings. This is a complete three primer coat Algrip paint job that should stand up for another 30 years.
